Pori Entrepreneurship Society supports people from the Satakunta region in networking, learning, developing business thinking, and realizing ideas into ventures.
About the association
Founded in 2020, the association is operated on a voluntary basis, and through forming strategic partnerships with other businesses and organizations within Finland and abroad.
Since 2025 IGDA Satakunta is a part of PoriES.
Our goal is sustainable growth, building meaningful networks, promoting lifelong learning, and the continuous improvement of the Satakunta region as an environment of possibilities and cooperation.
We are open to everyone, but most of our live services are for Satakuntalaiset - locals and internationals, to whom we provide a safe environment to gain, test and share skills and ideas.
Our communication language is English, but we are able to provide guidance also in Finnish, Russian, Bulgarian, Hindi, Sinhala, Arabic and others - due to our multicultural and multilingual community.

We are proven in small (<20 people) and large scale (>150 people) event planning, marketing and hosting, in physical, hybrid and virtual settings. Focus on educational workshops, ideation and hackathon challenges.

We offer you help in designing and improving user-centered and user-driven services, growing and activating your volunteer base, as well as accommodating your functions for the growing population of internationals within Satakunta.
