We had the incredible opportunity to organize Satakunta Business Connect, with Satakunnan Yrittäjät. Other event collaborators were Uusyrityskeskus Enter Satakunta and International house Pori.
A vibrant gathering that brought together a diverse mix of prospective international and local entrepreneurs, curious and eager to learn and grow. Held at Crazy Town, Pori, the event was more than just a networking opportunity—it was a celebration of innovation, collaboration, and the entrepreneurial spirit.

The Migrant Entrepreneur Network
The role of the Migrant Entrepreneur Network’s Management Team is to promote entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial matters, especially from the perspective of newcomers. In 2018, Yrittäjät established its own network for entrepreneurs who have moved to Finland from elsewhere.
The Management Team is elected for a two year period at a time. The current team begun their work in January 2022. The working language of the group is English.

Fostering cross-cultural collaboration and innovation
What struck most was the diversity of perspectives in the room. From the representatives of Uusyritys Keskus to first-time founders, everyone had a story to tell and ideas to share. The international presence added a rich layer of global insight, making every conversation a chance to learn something new about different markets, business models, and cultural approaches to entrepreneurship.
Learning from the Best
The event featured a series of inspiring talks and panel discussions covering topics like sustainable business practices, digital transformation, and navigating challenges. Attendees walked away with actionable insights and a renewed sense of motivation. It was especially encouraging to see how open and interested the group was—no question was too small, and every idea was met with curiosity and encouragement.

Whether you're just starting out or already running a business, Satakunta Business Connect offered something for everyone. It was a reminder that entrepreneurship isn't a solo journey—it's a shared adventure fueled by connection, collaboration, internationalism, and continuous learning.
